Sight Word Activities Pack

This product includes activities to use with the Sight Word List of 220 words. They have been set up as half page A4. They have been provided in black and white for simple print and use; as well as colour for laminating and re-use. We have provided a variety of activities for all 220 words. They are broken up into 11 sets x 20 words. For the colour version, you may like to get coloured whiteboard markers to use – much more fun! We have provided instructions and ideas.

PLEASE NOTE: This product uses Australian spelling, e.g. colour it, not color it.

⭐WRITE IT
⭐COLOUR IT
⭐BUILD IT: use magnetic letters, straws, pipe cleaners or play dough…on the black and white versions you can also do collage (tearing bits of colour paper to make letters), glitter, stickers, crayons, etc.
⭐RAINBOW IT: Colour with rainbow colours
⭐COUNT IT: Count how many letters in the word and colour the correct number.
⭐FIND IT: Colour or circle/cross the word.
⭐MATCH IT: Draw a line between the matching sight words.
⭐RHYME IT: Circle words that rhyme with the sight word.
⭐SPOT IT: Decorate the word with lots of spots.
⭐PARK IT: Draw a line from the car to the words that rhyme with the sight word.
⭐FLIP IT: Write the word backwards, e.g. was becomes saw.
